Tuition Fees for 2025
ALL LEVEL WELCOME INCLUDING BEGINNERS
Before any students can register with the school, they need to sign up for a try out class (2 classes, part A and B) - $90.
At the end of the try out a spot may be granted based upon confirmation from Mark Gucciardi our Art Director.
PART TIME STUDY
Students can register any time - The Part-Time program is not session driven.
Drawing/Oil Painting Classes
Monday Drawing Classes: Supplemental studies in Bargues drawing, cast drawing, or oil painting from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm (Part A)
Monday Drawing Classes: Figure Life drawing from 6:30 - 9:30 pm (Part B)
Wednesday Drawing Classes: Supplemental studies in Bargues drawing, cast drawing, or oil painting from 10 to 1 pm (Part A)
Wednesday Drawing Classes: Figure Life drawing from 6:30 - 9:30 pm (Part B)
Saturday Drawing Classes: Figure Life drawing from 9 am - 12 pm (Part B)
Saturday Drawing and Oil Painting Classes: Supplemental studies in Bargue, cast drawing, or still life oil painting from 1:30 - 4:30 pm (Part A)
- $900 for 12 weeks of classes - 2 classes (6 hours) per week (Part A + Part B).
Classes must be used within the 12 weeks. Classes do not roll over into subsequent quarters. If needed, tuition can be divided into three payments, occurring every four weeks.
- $90 One instructed full day class or Try ou class (Part A + Part B).
- $45 One instructed three hour figure drawing class (Part A)
FULL TIME STUDY
Drawing/Oil Painting Classes
Our program entails a combination of classes, workshops and assignments with access to the school from 8 AM to 10 PM every day. Beginners welcome.
It is structured the following way
Year 1 - Drawing from Bargues plates, Casts and Figure life with Graphite, Charcoal, Red and white chalk. Art history lecture.
Year 2 - Oil painting foundation - grisaille, limited palette, extended palette simple to more complex still lives, Figure life painting, introduction to landscape painting, introduction to costumed figure life, introduction to Portrait. Stretching and priming surfaces, varnished finished paintings, archival considerations. Art history lecture.
Year 3 - Advanced Oil painting techniques (scumbling, glazing) and more complex subjects, Portraits and still lives, costumed figure life and Landscape. Pigment and paint fabrication is also covered. Art history lecture.
We deliver a certificate of completion for each year.
Cost is $3500 for Fall and Winter terms -$1750 for Spring and Summer.
