With a bachelors in painting from Savannah College of Art and Design followed by 7 years at the Watts Atelier, Pariano sought further education in his goal of an honest observational quality and a strong sense of design in his art. Christopher's work has won numerous academic and local awards, from Scholastics golden keys and the Governer's Award in high school, to 1st place in Fine Arts Wilmington, and Best in Show ( all media), First Place ( oil), Second Place ( water media) in Bill and Ann Litaker's winter art show, Mint Hill arts, First prize for Plein Air Painting (oil) among others.
